“On entering the building I was greeted by the musty smell ( the smell that you get in a second hand clothing shop on a wet day)that is consistent through out the building. A polish gentleman showed me to my room. Traveling through the hall and up the stairs was an intresering experience as there was no end to the variety of carpet that had been pieced together to cover the floors and i knew that if I found myself at a loose end I could make shapes or faces from the stains on the way he said I am sorry that it a bit small. He wasn't joking. The room itself was furnished with what could only be described as prize finds if you had gone dumpster diving. The ensure would have been the latest thing back in the 70s and there was a polite notice on the wall saying that the shower was a long way from the boiler and so the hot water takes a while to come through there was nothing explaining that when it did arrive that ut came out in a trickled any adjustment to the fosse made the water ice cold. The bedroom door didn't fit the frame and there was a gap underneath it which was so bad that they could have slid a plate of food under. The weather had turned cold and on the first night there was no heating.there was no facilities no reception no bar just a phone number stuck to the window saying any problems call and then a phone number. The room was over priced at £45 per night. I have seen cleaner homeless hostkes would u saty here again. Lol ahhh nope. Suggestions for the current owner turn off all the light and rent the whole property as a haloween spectacular would do well. The place is is dump.”

“The Couple that were running the Venue are Excellent. They were SO Friendly and probably the best Hoteliers we've ever come across in town. The property is full of Blackpool Charm, our room was a Great Size - very happy with it. The decor is dated, like 90%+ of Blackpool B&Bs, but perfectly functional and if this helps keep the prices down, I'm happy with that. Great location for the Bars & Venues around Lord Street.”
